Great service despite busy evening [Roseville CA] I used to frequent this place with co-workers when I worked closer to this area. I haven't been here in years. We recently dined in with my mom and youngest daughter. The dining room was packed around 6:30p on a Sunday evening and the host offered the side patio (which wasn't really outside) it just didn't have AC in that section. There wouldn't be any wait time if we didn't mind sitting there. We said okay as it wasn't too hot and was getting cooler in the evening. We ordered the following: Tempura Udon Japanese Ramen Yellow Stone sushi 2-Item Bento Box (chicken teriyaki and gyoza) Our server was very attentive and was quick to bring our drinks and refills. Food was served in a timely manner and we all enjoyed our food (I had the Japanese Ramen). Another server (or manager) came and asked us if everything was okay... we requested to go boxes and it was promptly brought to us. Overall good. Review #3565

Always a good time and fabulous food. One of our all time favorites that doesn't disappoint. Nice crowd for a Friday night. Also decorated for Halloween

Let's just say I make up my own mind about the restaurants I go to. I saw some interesting reviews and found the service to be pretty good. Our waitress was attentive and took her time with our orders. Our food was delivered fast and was pretty appealing- the presentation - the rolls were pretty good- the miso soup was tasty and hot- we were very pleased. The seaweed salad and the cucumber salad was pretty good- there was a lot and I will tell you - I was impressed with the cucumber salad - it was perfect for me to practice with my chop sticks- I'm learning the different styles - We had the Super Lion King , the Philadelphia and the Sexy French rolls - Miso Soup and the Cucumber Salad- we were stuffed and very pleased- I will be back- I like the decorations - it's quite unique - it was inviting - the hostess was really genuine - very pleasant and it was nice to see her- it's a good feeling to see someone smiling when you come in - I wish more restaurants had that approach to be happy to see people come in - I will be back to try the rest of the menu for how inviting it was to be here

Blue Nami is one of my favorite go-to sushi places. They have other locations that I visit and they are all wonderful (except the Folsom location doesn't have the jaguar roll!) still love em though! lol I always get the asteroids as an appetizer (you will not be disappointed) and the fore mentioned jaguar roll. My husband gets the Godzilla roll :D they have a lot of beer on tap and a bunch of colorful cocktails. I also joined their rewards program and continue to get deals! We got some $ off this lunch, which was nice. Yummy Sushiii!!!

Finally got to try Blue Nami!!! I got the Lion roll with cooked salmon over crab mix. FABULOUS. Husband got California roll and he loved it. The shrimp tempura roll was yummy too but I didn't like it. We shared a house salad ($10 is pretty expensive for a salad with head lettuce but it was good). The prices were fair, the service was great and the vibe was fun. Definitely will go back!!!

This is one of our favorite Japanese restaurants in our area. This time I ordered a sashimi bowl and everything was fresh and super tasty. My wife ordered a sushi combo which had some really good pieces. The dinner was perfect specially with hot sake

My boyfriend, sister, and I all wanted an after appointment snack. Today, I suggested Blue Nami because of all the memories and good times I have had here. I have had a favorite sushi roll in the past. The parking lot is always packed due to all the other exciting places to eat! I used to always sit up at the sushi bar, but today with our baby, we sat at a table with a sling to hold the carseat. This restaurant is only table seating and when packed to the max, it is a very tight squeeze, but being that it was only about 3 p.m, there was plenty of space. We sat right away and ordered drinks and looked over the menu. After ordering the Yummy yummy (the favorite blast from the past), super lion king, a few other sushi rolls, my sister ordered the Salmon Teriyaki Bento box. It comes with 4 California rolls, rice, salad, and miso. We received everything less than 10 minutes! It looked so delicious and I was so excited for the Yummy Yummy roll... (deep fried shrimp, imitation crab, cream cheese, topped with avocado and sauces) and... I swear... it tasted better than it did before! I've got to be honest... the other ones didn't compare, although they were pretty delicious! It was pretty warm inside, so the front door was open. Flies were a tiny issue, but our amazing server taped a to go lid to chop sticks and brought it to us! He was amazing! He made us all laugh! In fact, he made 2 of them and was shooing the flies out!My sister was on pest control after she enjoyed her bento box! I can't wait to start coming back more often and maybe bring a group of friends before our big night out!
